Sleepin' in Church

This picture makes my heart so happy! One of the things that hurt me the most when Dad was sick and passed away was knowing that my future children would never know him. My dad was so good with kids. Even tho he was a big guy, little ones were never scared of him. I guess they could sense his sweet gentle nature.

Anyway, this picture makes me happy because it's my Uncle Dannie holding Darby while she drifts off to sleep during church. If Daddy can't be around to be with her at least I have his two brothers close by. I'm lucky to be so close to both my Uncle Dannie and Uncle James! Seeing her be so comfortable with my dad's family just puts a big smile on my face and warms my heart.
