Grillin' out

Okay ... how about now?

Tony bought this adorable little BBQ grill at the Trumann auction a few months ago. It cracks me up! We are going to rock so hard this football season when it's tailgating time! We decided that it would be a good idea to try out the grill before September gets here just to make sure the grill would actually work. It's a little short but other than the height thing I think it worked out pretty well.

When I got in from work last night I started smashing out some hamburger patties while Tony got the grill going. Then while he cooked those, I was inside working on the fries. (We make a good team, no?) I love sweet potato fries! I tried making them before and they turned out a little strange but I think I figured them out this time. Don't they look tasty? They were awesome and since I have two more potatoes left I think I'll make more for tonight's dinner. Anyway, while those were in the oven I got outside and took a few pics of the grill. I wanted to get a shot of the master chef himself but he was a little camera shy and not cooperating.

Once dinner was ready we popped our latest netlix (Transformers - two thumbs up!) in the DVD player and enjoyed some incredible burgers! I can't wait for lunch to get here so I can heat up my leftovers!
