Don't tailgate unless you need a clean windshield.

I do a lot of driving. During the week I drive nearly 120 miles a day just to and from work. Back when I was living in Mid-town with Krista I figured out this trick to make those nasty tailgaters learn their lesson without being a beotch about it. It's become pretty handy lately. I had to do it once this morning and twice yesterday.

Here's the trick:
When someone is following me too closely, I wash my windshield. There's something about the sprayer on my car that makes some of the washer fluid fly over my car. It may be like this on all cars but mine works especially well. If another vehicle happens to be too close while I'm spraying my windshield then some of the washer fluid lands on their car and windshield too. You can tell it works by watching your rear view mirror. Trust me, it's very satisfying to see that person who was once riding your arse have to slow down a smidge to wash their own windshield. You might waste a little washer fluid when your windshield is already clean but teaching those tailgaters a lesson is priceless!
