Family Pictures

Back before Darby was born, a former co-worker of my mom's approached her about a fundraiser they were having at their church. A photographer was going to come in on the first Saturday of December and you could purchase the sitting fee along with an 11x14 picture for a certain price and part of the money spent would go towards the church. This was perfect timing for us! Mom knew Darby would be here by then and the pictures would be developed in time for Christmas. She got a package for her and one for me. She wanted an 11x14 of the four generations - My poppaw, her, me and Darby. Then my package was going to be of my little family - Tony, me and Darby. We were really surprised by the photographer and how many pictures he took. We were just expecting him to take one shot but he ended up doing a lot of different poses of all of us. The backgrounds were a little cheesy but I think the pictures turned out really well. Mom and I bought all the poses. I won't tell you how much we spent but we love pictures and this was our Christmas present to ourselves. Plus it was for a good cause, right?
