Had a fabulous peaceful and relaxing weekend. Ate some sushi with my hubby on Friday. Had two blissful, whine-free evenings while the baby spent some time with Tony's folks. And got to sit on the riverbank and read a book while my friends fished on Saturday. Weather was perfect - warm but not too hot. Saddler Falls wasn't crowded and didn't fail to disappoint when it came to great people watching. Hopefully my city-friends weren't scared off by all the white trash, orange bikinis and "squirrels".
ALSO, when we brought Darby home Sunday night, there was no melt down when we separated her from Granny and PawPaw. She normally throws a fit when we she has to leave them. There was enough left over BBQ chicken for us to have for dinner last night and so far the cat hasn't peed on anything (as she tends to do as punishment for when we've been out of town). BONUS!
Sometimes life is good.
